Welcome to Glucose Control Assistant (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Medical Disclaimer: This App is a health data recording tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. All data recorded and displayed in the App is for personal reference only and should not be used as a basis for medical decisions. Always follow the guidance of your doctor or other qualified healthcare professional.
The App stores the following data during your use. All data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account:

The App uses Apple's HealthKit framework:
Access to HealthKit data requires your explicit authorization. You can modify permissions at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices. The App will never use HealthKit data for advertising or data mining, nor share it with any third party.
If you enable iCloud sync (a premium feature), your data is stored in your private database via Apple CloudKit. This means:
Note for users in mainland China: In accordance with applicable laws, iCloud services in mainland China are operated by Guizhou-Cloud Big Data Industry Co., Ltd. (GCBD). Your data storage and processing are subject to their terms of service.
The App requires camera access to take meal photos. Photos are compressed (max 1024px, JPEG format) and stored within the app's data. The App also supports selecting photos from your library using Apple's PHPicker, which does not require additional photo library permissions.
Your photos are used solely for meal records and are never uploaded to any external server.
The App can send local notifications based on your settings to remind you to measure your blood glucose. Notification content is generated and processed entirely on your device.
The App offers in-app subscriptions. All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information (such as credit card numbers). To manage subscriptions, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

You can delete all local data at any time using the "Factory Reset" option in the App's Settings. To also delete iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage and remove the App's data.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. If you access and use the App from other countries or regions, please note that your data will be processed as described in this policy.
