Markora Terms of Use

Thank you for using Markora. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Purchases are also subject to the applicable Apple App Store terms.
1. The service
Markora provides Markdown creation, editing, preview, scan-to-text conversion, diagram/formula editing, and HTML/PDF export. Availability may vary by device, operating system, region, and subscription status.
2. Documents and user content
You retain rights to content that you create, import, and export, and you are responsible for having the rights needed to use it. Keep your own backups and review OCR, conversion, and export results for accuracy.
Markora does not acquire ownership of your documents. The App does not submit documents to a Markora-hosted cloud service.
3. Lawful use
Do not use the App for unlawful activity, infringement of another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights, bypassing system security controls, or disrupting the App or Apple services. Follow applicable law, Apple terms, and the rules of any file provider you use.
4. Markora Pro subscriptions
Markora Pro is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. Monthly and yearly options are currently offered; price, taxes, currency, and any offer are shown at purchase. Apple handles renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing under its terms. See Subscription information.
The app license is also governed by the license agreement applicable in the App Store. Where no custom EULA is specified, Apple’s Standard EULA applies. These terms do not replace that license agreement.
5. Availability and third-party services
The App depends on iOS/iPadOS, the Apple App Store, file providers, and system frameworks. System updates, file-provider status, device capabilities, or Apple service changes may affect features. External links, websites, and third-party file services are operated by their providers, and Markora is not responsible for their content or availability.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided as is. OCR, Markdown parsing, diagram layout, formula rendering, and PDF/HTML export may contain errors and do not replace human review. Do not rely solely on the App for safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or other professionally sensitive content.
See the Scan, OCR and Export Notice for capabilities and limitations. These terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Responsibility, compensation and remedies are determined under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms or change features. The current version will be posted on this page with an effective date. Continued use means that you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using and delete the App.
